Christine Dwyer is excited to be joining Above and Beyond Speech Therapy as an Independent Contractor in 2022. She is a graduate of Penn State University (B.S., Communication Sciences and Disorders 2000) and Portland State University (M.S., Speech Language Pathology 2004). Christine has practiced speech pathology for 17 years, drawing from a range of experiences both in the United States and abroad. As she has worked in both private practices and school settings, Christine is competent and confident in helping young people develop the skills they need to be successful. Christine bases her approach on authentic relationships with children and their families, and she focuses on how to motivate children to apply what they practice with her in sessions to their daily interactions.
When Christine isn’t supporting students, she enjoys spending time with her family, being active, and exploring the outdoors. Christine and her husband (also a PSU grad) have two children and are excited to be back in Happy Valley.
For the safety of our families, you all, and the community, I am asking clients to wash hands immediately before sessions, cleaning thoroughly between clients, etc. If you or your child would like to wear a mask, please do so. If your child comes in with some minor sniffles or is coughing, I will put a mask on. If you are sick, please stay home and we will reschedule. I thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Above and Beyond Speech Therapy is currently taking children ages 3 and up on a waitlist. Please reach out to Emily, the owner, with the Contact Me button below if you would like to be added to the waitlist.
